We are delighted to announce that the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and its club partners IEEE Computer Society IUB SBC, JUTKI – Club of CSE, and IUB ACM SC will host a workshop on Diversity, Tolerance, and Pluralism for engineering students.
The seminar will have two guest speakers. One of them is Fahmida Rahman, Lecturer and Program Coordinator in the School of General Education, Brac University. And our other speaker will be, Imran Nawaz Khurshid, Project Manager of CES, ULAB.
The main aim of this workshop will be to teach students how social conflicts and discrimination arise, evolve, and impact people. Through this workshop, the students will be able to differentiate between informed sources and misinformation outlets. This skill will help students identify radical views that divide society. The perspective that you may gain from this seminar may help you promote positive social change in the leadership positions you hold in the future.
